Installation steps for the hanging ears are as follows:
Switch Hanging Ears Installation Elements: Includes a pair of installation hanging ears, six M3 screws for attaching hanging ears to the switch, and four M6 screws with nuts to secure the switch to the cabinet rack.
Installing the switch into the cabinet:
(1) The operator should wear an anti-static wrist strap. Ensure that the anti-static wrist strap is in good contact with the skin and has been properly grounded.
(2) Check and ensure that the hanging ears are securely attached to both sides of the switch.
(3) Install the floating nuts on the pillar square holes of the switch mounting position. Ensure that the floating nuts on the corresponding positions of the left and right pillars are on the same horizontal plane.
(4) One installer supports the bottom of the switch by hand and moves the switch along the cabinet to the appropriate position, aligning the hanging ear mounting holes on both sides of the switch with the floating nuts on the cabinet's square hole strip.
(5) Another installer uses M6 screws to secure the other end of the hanging ears to the cabinet's square hole strip.
